Archives Boot Camp
Thirty-five eager recruits — authors, community historians, First Nations researchers, genealogists and more — joined a unique boot camp at the archives of the Royal BC Museum. Each trainee arrived with a BC-focused research project and were put through drills on how to obtain information from different sources in the collections. In addition to an orientation, they received a behind-the-scenes tour and created a plan of action to begin or continue their project.
