Notes from the People’s History is Darin’s acknowledgement that the algorithm decides where to place his Victoria, BC-based media business in search results. The way he understands the idea, is that if he regularly posts a blog with interesting, relevant, and entertaining content, it will tell the algorithm that he understands the rules. This may result in a search results bump. Or it may not.

The glass half full way to look at it is it helps Darin stretch his mind a little each week to figure out how to entertain you. It’s fun.
